Nigerian singer and songwriter, Joseph Akinwale Akinfenwa-Donus otherwise known as Joeboy has finally revealed his music role model.
Joeboy, the “Body and Soul” hitmaker disclosed that controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola better known as Portable is his role model when it comes to music.
The singer made this known via his official Twitter handle while responding to questions from his fans and followers from the question-and-answer session he created.
Recall that Joeboy rose to prominence in the Nigerian music industry following the release of his track, “Baby” in 2019. It garnered 20 million streams across YouTube and Spotify in 2019. He also releases other hit tracks that include, “Alcohol”, Don’t Call Me”, “All for You” among others.

Responding, Joeboy said Portable who joined the music industry in 2021 is his role model, although he hasn’t revealed he said so.
