One of Nigeria’s Veteran Comedians, Bright Okpocha, whose stage name is known as Basketmouth has on Thursday 22nd December 2022, announced the end of his Marriage with wife, Elsie Okpocha.
Basket Mouth married his 44 year old wife Elsie about 12 years ago and the duo have three kids with each other. Basket mouth recently celebrated the 44th birthday anniversary of his ones “dear wife”.
The ace comedian took to his blue ticked Instagram social media account to announce the news, Basketmouth wrote, “As much as it pains me to bring my personal life to the public space, this is an unavoidable situation.
“After much deliberations, my wife and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage.
“As we move forward separately, we will continue to work together to give our beautiful children all the care, love, guidance and support they need.
“We humbly ask that you respect our privacy as we navigate through these times. Thank you,” he wrote.
The details of what transpired between the comedian and his wife are still not clear as at the time of writing this report. Basketmouth also locked the comment section of the post and obviously does not seem to want to make a comment on the topics for now.
